Soil and Nutrient Requirements Plants need loose, fertile, well drained soil with plenty of organic matter and nitrogen and a pH 5.8-6.8. Fertilize seedlings with fish emulsion if leaves yellow. Position Full Sun Seeding Depth Seed depth: 1/2-1” Seeding Rate Direct seeding: 2-3 seeds/18-36”, thin to one plant per spacing Plant Spacing Plant spacing: for bush varieties 18-24”, for vining 24-36” Row Spacing Row spacing: for bush, semi-bush and short vine types is 6’, for vigorous vining types use 9’. Plants can also be planted in hills of 3-5 plants in rows 3-5’ apart (bush types provide less weed suppression so are typically planted closer than vining types) for easier tractor cultivation When to Sow Days to maturity are from direct seeding, subtract 2 weeks if transplanting. WHITE POPPING SORGHUM SEED,Grain, floral arrangements (dried or fresh flower)(3000 Seeds)
$13.44
Unit price perWHITE POPPING SORGHUM SEED,Grain, floral arrangements (dried or fresh flower)(3000 Seeds)
$13.44
Unit price perSorghum is gluten-free and an interesting alternative to the typical home-grown grain choice of corn (maize). It is an efficient use of space as it grows close together, and it tastes good.
This variety of sorghum can be popped like popcorn! The tiny seeds when popped are very white and smaller- but crunchy. They really have a great nutty flavor. White Popping Sorghum should be planted in warm soils after any danger of frost. The small cream colored round seeds should be planted at a depth of about 1/2 inch. Germination takes ten days or longer depending on growing conditions. The seedlings may need to be thinned so plants are spaced 6-8 inches apart. The plant will form many small “suckers” . These small suckers will likely produce a seed head, too. The sorghum plants will grow to heights of 8-10 feet or taller. The seed head is somewhat compact with fewer fibers than most broom corns, but looser than the Black Seeded or Black Kafir sorghums. Maturity varies from 100-110 days, but seed heads can be harvested at any stage of development. Typical seed heads are about 10-12 inches long. Again it has multi uses- it can be popped or used in floral arrangements (dried or fresh flower). Soil Temperature: 65-80°F
Planting Depth: 1
Germination: 7-10 Days
Height At Maturity: 10'-12'
Sun/Shade: Full Sun
Spacing After Thinning: 3 -4

The Peter Red chili also known as the Peter Pepper or Penis Pepper and even Chili Willy (Capsicum annuum) is an heirloom hot pepper that turns from green to red. It is approximately 3 to 4 inches long, and 1 to 1.5 inches wide when fully mature.
Peter pepers are adaptable to a variety of growing conditions.
The peter pepper, particularly the red variety, has been described as a miniature replica of the circumcised male organ . The pod of the pepper is wrinkled and has a round tip with a cleft. Peter peppers are approximately 3 to 4 inches in length, and 1 to 1.5 inches wide when
fully mature. The pod of the pepper has also been noted for its pungency.
The unusually phallic shaped fruits of the penis pepper resemble human penises when fully ripe. In addition to the conversation value of this pepper, it has a variety of uses including salsas and ground pepper. Peter peppers are prolific producers! The penis pepper heat level
ranges between 5,000 and 30,000 scoville units which is hotter than Tabasco and even hotter than the Jalapeno.

I love to grow PEPPER JALAPENO PEPPERSThis is the GIANT POD Jalapeno
These are very easy to grow and taste so goodI grow and harvest all of my own seedsThey are very easy to grow and very heavy bearers..and if you like a good spicy stuffed pepper...this is itThey also make very good pickled peppers (pepper-sauce).Jalapeños are a pod type of Capsicum. The growing
period for a jalapeño plant is 70-80 days. When
mature, the plant stands two and a half to three
feet tall. Typically, a single plant will produce
twenty five to thirty five pods. During a growing
period, a plant will be picked multiple times. As
the growing season comes to an end, the jalapeños
start to turn red.Once picked, individual peppers ripen to red of
their own accord. The peppers can be eaten green or
red.Start seeds indoors 8 weeks before last frost. Keep soil barely moist. Wet soil will kill peppers. 80 degrees is ideal, but anywhere from 70 to 90 degrees will work fine. These will germinate very easy...I have a very high germination rate each year.....85 days. Open pollinated. Full sun. Water weekly if necessary.Water regularly, but do not over-water.These are VERY easy to grow and will not disappoint You..All my seeds are SELF grown by me and all have VERY good germination rates..
