Narcissus ‘Ziva’ Use: This is the classic paperwhite, the fastest from bulb to bloom and the hands-down easiest. Nestle a few in bowls filled with pebbles on windowsills throughout the house to bathe your home in their sweet, musky scent. Start new pots every 10 days and you'll have fragrance to carry you through until spring flowers are blooming outdoors. These will scent your early spring garden wonderfully and add bobbing white, snippable blooms to your flowerbeds. Deer and rodent proof. Allium hollandicum, the Persian onion or Dutch garlic, is a species of flowering plant native to Iran and Kyrgyzstan but widely cultivated as an ornamental because of its umbels of attractive purple flowers. The genus Allium contains over 700 species of bulbous or rhizomatous plants. All possess oniony smelling flowers and foliage. Some species are grown for culinary purposes and others for ornamental purposes. Plants typically produce showy flower umbels on naked scapes rising above a clump of linear grass-like leaves. Ornamental alliums generally range in height from 3” to 4-6’ tall. Easily grown in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Best in full sun, but appreciates some light afternoon shade in hot summer climates. Tolerates a wide range of soils. Performs well in sandy soils. Add sand to clay soils as needed to improve drainage. Bulbs are best planted in fall. Purple Sensation' produces a 4-5 inch ball of vivid violet-purple flowers on 24-30 inch stalks. Bulb rot may occur in overly moist soils. Watch for mildew, rust and leaf spots. Thrips are an occasional problem. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid this plant. Please research your planting zone for proper planting instructions for your particular planting zone. We are not responsible for bulb/flower issues due to improper planting methods. Allium bulbs should be planted outdoors in autumn. Bloom time is early summer. As a general rule, make sure the hole is at least twice the depth of the bulb, and leave a gap of at least 3 times the bulb width between each bulb.

Planting Instructions: For best flowering, plant in the fall in full sun and in well-drained soil. The bulbs do best planted 4-inches apart and 3-inches deep.
