Unit price perThe easiest plants for gardeners to grow come from bulbs, and fall is the time to plant many of them. For those who pine for some color in their gardens come spring, bulb. Muscari Muscari is a genus of perennial bulbous plants native to Eurasia that produce spikes of dense, most commonly blue, urn-shaped flowers resembling bunches of grapes in the spring. The common name for the genus is grape hyacinth. Muscari Armeniacum Few gardeners realize that muscari, also known as grape hyacinths, are available in a variety of colors and flower styles. This exclusive mix is a harmony of pale blue, sky blue, periwinkle, violet and Prussian blue. The cheery, grape-scented little bells bloom for weeks and will return to flower again every spring. Fragrant Good Naturalizers Deer and Rabbit Resistant Hyacinth Bulbs-Muscari armeniacum, called grape hyacinth, spring-blooming Charming, cone-shaped spikes of tiny, mid-blue flowers appear in April and May above the grass-like, mid-green leaves. Grape hyacinths look gorgeous peeping out of a large container, planted with yellow, spring-flowering pansies. Quickly forming small colonies, they're also valuable for naturalizing at the front of a sunny mixed or shrub border. Culture Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Plant bulbs about 3” deep and 3” apart in fall. Flowers emerge in early spring. Keep ground moist during the spring growing season, but reduce watering after foliage begins to die back. Although plants of this species go dormant in summer, they produce new leaves in autumn. Naturalizes well by both bulb offsets and, under favorable growing conditions, self-seeding. Noteworthy Characteristics Muscari armeniacum, commonly called grape hyacinth, is an early spring-blooming bulbous perennial that is native to southeastern Europe (including Armenia). It features conical racemes of slightly fragrant, tightly packed, deep violet blue, urn-shaped flowers atop scapes rising to 8” early

One lbs of wheatgrass seeds for sprouting - hard red winter wheat. Great for refilling your wheatgrass kits, baking into sprouted grain breads. - Wheatgrass Juice is one of the best sources of living chlorophyll available today. However, to get the full benefit, the chlorophyll must come fresh from a living plant. - Wheatgrass juice is an effective healer because it contains all minerals known to man, and vitamins A, B-complex, C, E, l and K. It is extremely rich in protein, and contains 17 amino acids, the building blocks of protein. - Wheatgrass juice contains up to 70% chlorophyll, which is an important blood builder. The chlorophyll molecules closely resemble that of the hemin molecule, the pigment which combines with protein to form hemoglobin. The major difference is the chlorophyll molecule contains magnesium as it’s central atom, and the hemin molecule contains iron. The molecular structure of these two substances is almost identical in all other respects. - Chlorophyll contains enzymes and super- oxide dismutase, a copper-containing protein found in mature red blood cells. This enzyme decomposes superoxide radicals in the body into a more manageable form, thereby helping to slow down the aging process.
